Smartphone company OnePlus is unvieling its new smartphone named 'OnePlus X' today in India. OnePlus had earlier teased the launch of their upcoming smartphone titled OnePlus X aka OnePlus Mini on October 29 in India.
The OnePlus India handle tweeted out a series of tweets with #OnePlusXLaunch and will also hold events in London, Beijing, and Jakarta among others.
The smartphone was recently certified in China as the OnePlus E1001. According to the report, the device would run Oxygen OS, and will sport IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. The device is expected to be priced around $250.
The OnePlus X is expected to have a display of 5 inch with a 1080 x 1920 screen resolution, and it looks like the phone will have a pretty big screen-to-body ratio, at least judging from the thin side bezels seen on the posters. It will rock the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 – the SoC of choice for 2014 flagships, which is still a pretty potent processor. In terms of memory, this smartphone will have a 3 GB RAM chip and storage options of either 16 GB or 32 GB, expandable via microSD. It's main snapper will have a 13 MP resolution.
